Arms Vs. Fury for Arena

Now to the question most warriors are asking themselves when they hit 80 with the intention of pvp, "Should I go Arms or Fury". I am currently Fury because of the insane high constant damage, which I benefit me for raids as well. I started off as Arms when I hit 80 being that it has been my main love since WoW Beta, and I had never tried Fury before, until of course the temptation of dual wielding two-handers became to great. I just had to try it and let me tell you when I ran my first heroic after that I was hooked. Demolishing most high dps classes without trying on the meters. Now I know this has nothing to do with pvp however for those of you who love to grab easy epics from heroics and normal raids and want to pvp without respec this is the way to go and not find yourself scrounging around doing dailies just to respec and get your ten games before the tuesday reset (*cough* Blackmouth *cough*).

Now in 2's this spec is hard to pull off considering you have no survivability especially against dual dps classes. Much more useful in 3's with a geared competent healer, remember in order for Fury to work you have to sustain high damage on the focus target as well as surrounding enemy's so the healer has to heal not only himself but his allies at 50% healing reduction. Most would argue saying that Fury are all about single target damage and I think that's BS, seriously we have imp cleave which hits the target next to our focus at 120%, and 20% increased damage on WW, that shit kills. Now if you can pull off going Reck and Death Wish and not dying in the first second, then basically GG,unless your fighting a pally (Screw your damn bubbles), even priests bubbles don't stand a chance. With that combo you should be hitting around 20k WW's against 3 non plate opponents, if your decently geared. Now this sounds like obviously the better route to go but the problem lies in that you aren't fighting face rolling idiots ( usually). You will get focused, for three reasons, one obviously you are doing a plethora amount of damage the whole fight, two you are reducing healing done on targets and three you are the new warlock and drop like 5 dollar hooker. Another great benefit is heroic fury, refreshing the cool down of your intercept and removes immobilization effects, this helps against kiting and if used properly will eliminate you becoming a mages play toy.

Now as Arms I have not had too much experience at it since the beginning WotLK, but I do know that as far as burst goes its game over when you combine Blade storm and Recklessness. Now lets look at the cool down of those ability's, Blade storm:2.5 minutes, Recklessness:5 minutes. So if you don't kill someone with that combo then lets just say its going to be a tough fight. Since the Nerf of Sudden Death you can't annihilate someone after your Blade storm frenzy, which you usually came out of with 100 rage and the SD proc, this spells bad news for your opponents. Now though it is still useful of course, but no so overpowered. Now keep in mind you have to keep your opponent impaired the whole fight (duh), this is the warrior code for pvp, otherwise you could end up waisting you Blade storm.

I am going to piddle around with Arms again because I have had a significant gear upgrade since the last time I tried it out, basically went from blues to now pure epic except for shoulders. So I might find a new insight on what is the best spec for arena.
